Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels. Often, that’s a perfectly adequate explanation. I have time to iron my sheets, I just don’t want to. But other things are harder. Try it: “I’m not going to edit your résumé, sweetie, because it’s not a priority.” “I don’t go to the doctor because my health is not a priority.” If these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the point. Changing our language reminds us that time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently.

Start A Revolution, Start Loving Your Body

Up to 70 million people in this world struggle with eating disroders. I am one of this 70 million, but I am not my ED, and neither are these 70 million people.   Now that I am in my recovery, I want to start a Revolution. The Revolution for everyone to start loving their body. Beauty has no weight limit and we are perfectly imperfect. I am have a million imperfections, but I know my body has nothing to do with what people think of me. I am perfectly imperfect. I am beautiful, and when I hit rock bottom I pick myself up and remind myself I am beautiful. So join me in this revolution and walk proudly next to me in the NEDA walk in Foley Square, NYC on October 5th  because I pledge to love every body. Will you?
